Black Bear™
The
Black Bear™ ZTR® gets in and gets out of tight mowing spaces and
will fit
through a standard 36” gate by raising the deflector. Commercial
operators will
appreciate its small footprint as it takes less room on the trailer.
Although
the deck’s cut width is only 34”, the Black Bear™ is receiving rave
reviews for
superior cut quality and mulching capabilities are second to none! Also
available in a 44" cut width, the Black Bear™ decks are fabricated of
seven-gauge welded-steel featuring ¼” thick Fusion™ blades,
rugged, oversized
cast-iron spindle hubs and oversized bearings for long life, plus a
heavy-duty
rubber discharge chute that won’t dent or damage landscaping obstacles.
A
17-position deck height adjustment lever with foot assist allows for
1.5” –
5.5” cut height range. The Black Bear™ comes with either a 16 HP
Kawasaki KAI
twin (34" cut only) or 18 HP Kohler Command Pro™ engine. For power,
performance, and durability, the Black Bear™ uses dual Parker H1 pumps
and
Parker TE wheel motors. Operators will enjoy a comfortable ride, too,
thanks to
the ballistic-cloth foam cushion seat, the 13” front wheels and 23”
rear
wheels.
